Lottie is a lightweight, scalable vector animation format that brings motion to digital experiences without the heavy load of traditional video. Using the Bodymovin plugin for After Effects, I export animations as compact JSON files that play seamlessly across web and mobile platforms.

My workflow begins in Adobe Illustrator, where I design vector assets. I then use the Overlord plugin to move those assets directly into After Effects, streamlining the transition from design to motion. Once the animations are complete, Bodymovin exports them into Lottie JSON files, which can be hosted and previewed online via LottieFiles or embedded directly into websites and apps.

This process ensures animations remain resolution-independent, fast-loading, and interactive, making them ideal for modern UI/UX needs such as onboarding flows, micro-interactions, dashboards, and eLearning modules.
