Lottie is a lightweight, scalable vector animation format that adds motion without the bulk of traditional video. Using the Bodymovin plugin for After Effects, I export animations as compact JSON files playable on web and mobile.

I start in Adobe Illustrator to design vector assets, then use the Overlord plugin to transfer them to After Effects for animation. Bodymovin exports these to Lottie JSON files, which can be hosted online or embedded in sites and apps.

This ensures resolution-independent, fast-loading, and interactive animations ideal for UI/UX tasks like onboarding, micro-interactions, dashboards, and eLearning.
