I redesigned and systemized Xometry's "Custom Manufacturing On Demand" homepage — every section turned into a reusable, responsive, themeable component in Figma, then shipped to production with engineering.

One homepage, built as a system.

XOMETRY · BUYER EXPERIENCE

01 — OVERVIEW

Not a page.
A component library.

For Xometry’s Buyer Experience team, I designed and refined the Xometry.com homepage—the primary entry point for buyers exploring on-demand manufacturing. The experience highlights Xometry’s services and capabilities, guides users toward requesting an instant quote, and builds trust through clear navigation, responsive design, and strong visual storytelling. I tested the page in Vercel to gather stakeholder feedback and refine the experience before handoff.

02 — THE SYSTEM

Section by section,
into reusable parts.

12+
Reusable components
Hero, stat bar, service tabs, story cards, testimonials, CTA, footer — each a self-contained block.
Ant
Built on Ant Design
Extended Ant Design primitives to match Xometry's brand while keeping engineering parity.
3
Breakpoint variants
Every component carries XL, MD and XS variants so layouts adapt without redrawing.
2
Light & dark themes
Token-driven theming lets the same components flip between light and dark instantly.

One design, three breakpoints.

03 — RESPONSIVE

The same component set, reflowed for desktop (XL), tablet (MD) and mobile (XS) — defined once in Figma and verified in build.

Light and dark,
from one set of tokens.

04 — THEMING

LIGHT
Default surface

Custom
Manufacturing

The platform for everyone from startups to global enterprises.
DARK
Inverted surface

Custom
Manufacturing

The platform for everyone from startups to global enterprises.

Color, surface and elevation were defined as semantic tokens — so switching themes never meant rebuilding a component, only remapping values.

From Figma to production.

05 — MY ROLE

01 Turned each homepage section into a reusable Figma component on Ant Design
02 Authored XL, MD & XS variants for every component
03 Built light & dark themes with semantic design tokens
04 Tested the build on Vercel across breakpoints and themes
05 Partnered with engineering to ship the page live on xometry.com
