I redesigned and systemized Xometry's "Custom Manufacturing On Demand" homepage — every section turned into a reusable, responsive, themeable component in Figma, then shipped to production with engineering.
One homepage, built as a system.
XOMETRY · BUYER EXPERIENCE
01 — OVERVIEW
Not a page.
A component library.
For Xometry’s Buyer Experience team, I designed and refined the Xometry.com homepage—the primary entry point for buyers exploring on-demand manufacturing. The experience highlights Xometry’s services and capabilities, guides users toward requesting an instant quote, and builds trust through clear navigation, responsive design, and strong visual storytelling. I tested the page in Vercel to gather stakeholder feedback and refine the experience before handoff.
02 — THE SYSTEM
Section by section,
into reusable parts.
One design, three breakpoints.
03 — RESPONSIVE
The same component set, reflowed for desktop (XL), tablet (MD) and mobile (XS) — defined once in Figma and verified in build.
Light and dark,
from one set of tokens.
04 — THEMING
Custom
Manufacturing
Custom
Manufacturing
Color, surface and elevation were defined as semantic tokens — so switching themes never meant rebuilding a component, only remapping values.
From Figma to production.
